LA-based Synth-Pop and Darkwave duo Sleek Teeth have announced an upcoming self-titled EP that leans into mystery as it searches for unknown destinations. It arrives this Friday, October 4th, 2024.

Of the EP, the duo say:

It wasn’t a conscious decision, but there are threads of undefined surroundings and unknown destinations woven throughout the EP. There’s a sense of mystery, like not knowing what’s out there in the dark, but if you want to move forward you have to make that leap and deal with whatever comes. The songs aren’t so much an attempt to come up with answers as they are a raw expression of the struggle itself, and we think there’s a kind of resolution to be found in that.

Blending elements of Darkwave, Electro-Pop and EBM, Sleel Teeth’s songs explore “depths of isolation, dissociation, and the struggle to make sense of the senseless.”

The duo made a live debut at Das Bunker in Los Angeles in 2024, and are slated to play the LA Darkwave music festival Substance in November.
