Texan artist Calder Allen will be releasing new album Dreamers, Drifters, and Hiders, on May 3, 2024. Allen is working once more with Charlie Sexton, who produces Allen’s first album, and was actually the producer at Arlyn Studios of Calder’s grandfather, Terry Allen’s album Moby Dick.
The album’s first single, “Floating Shoes”, has been released alongside the album announcement.
Allen says of his music:
I just want to create with intent. I want my songs to be pure, honest, and representative of who I am, what I believe, and what I would like the world to be. Put it out there and let it live.

Allen has also announced a very special hometown show to celebrate the album’s release on May 4th, 2024 at 3Ten Austin City Limits. The following week he’ll hit the road supporting Charles Wesley Godwin, then he’ll be opening for Miranda Lambert and Red Clay Strays, before jumping on tour with Cody Jinks in the late summer and Fall.
