The Swedish Rock band Freedom has released their first single “This is Gonna Hurt” taken from their upcoming album Stay Free. Freedom is deeply rooted in the “working-class rock of the 70’s and 80’s.”

The band says about the new single:

Have you ever fallen head over heels in love with something or someone you know is bad for you? The warning signs are there, and there’s this voice in your head saying ”this is gonna hurt”.

So what do you do? Dive in head first of course.

Since Freedom first started in 2019, they’ve focused strongly on their live act, filling clubs throughout Sweden. In 2022 they were chosen to play at the official release party of The Hellacopters at the Hamburger Börs in Stockholm.
