Indigenous and Persian singer/songwriter Chloe Star hails from LA and has released a second new single, “Found My Peace” along with a special video. The single was recorded by Grammy award-nominated producer Kevin Thrasher (Jelly Roll, Gwen Stefani, Blink 182) and is the second in a trilogy of singles, each accompanied by cinematic music videos that will combine to form a short film.
The first single/video, “Fool,” was released earlier in November about toxic relationships whereas “Found My Peace” continues that storyline, illustrating that “one can let go of those toxic relationships and heal.”
Chloe Star says:
‘Found My Peace’ was written while I was in this awakening of finally finding peace in my life. You know that feeling of weight being lifted after removing toxicity from your life? This is that. It’s about realizing that once you remove certain people, negative things, or even just negative habits from your life you will find peace. This song is also about how toxic relationships can be so harmful to one’s mental health. As a human being I have dealt with breakups and gone through the motions of how hard they can be. They feel like you’re being stripped of all love and lose sight of the light. But this is about the awakening that happens after the breakup.
The process of writing this song felt so organic. It came so easily, and I think that’s because it was so true to my feelings that everything just flowed exactly how it was supposed to. I was finally freed from my own demons that have been haunting me.

A California native, born in San Bernadino and currently residing in Los Angeles, Chloe has brought her heritage and “tumultuous upbringing” into her music to to amplify the voice of those with similar backgrounds, combining Pop-Punk melodies and Hip-Hop beats.
