UK Post-Punk outfit Naut will be releasing a new full length, Hunt, on February 24, 2022 via Season of Mist, making it the band’s debut to the label. The band is now streaming the album in its entirety ahead of Friday’s release.
Naut comments:
It is with pleasure that we share our debut album with you today, in full! ‘Hunt’ is something very dear to us, a statement of intent in terms of what NAUT is and the starting point of what we hope will continue to be an interesting foray into the nightside of us as a band and individuals. We thank Season of Mist for their continued support and for allowing us creative freedom. Thank you to everyone who has streamed the singles, watched the videos and taken time out to contact us or comment on them. We hope the rest of the songs on this album fill you with the magic that we have breathed into them – may you shed your skin and dance amongst the ruins! Hopefully see you on the road.
Naut are a four piece drum machine Rock band from Bristol, whose shared love of Classic Rock and Metal, alongside reverence for the Post-Punk pioneers of the late 70s and early 80s, is apparent from the start.

Raise the Lights, their debut EP, was recorded and released in 2018 and saw many live shows. At the end of 2018, they also recorded a new EP, Semele, which was released in April 2019. New singles and an active presence on the live scene followed. New singles “Threads” and “Hand in Hand” were released as a double A side 7” in June 2020.
Work on a debut album was also underway over the months of restrictions and lockdowns. Now having signed with Seasons of Mist for the release of that debut album which continues to pursue “dark music in all its facets”.
