Congolese artist Fally Ipupa has shared new single “Garde du Cœur” featuring Cameroonian singer-songwriter Charlotte Dipanda. The song is taken from Ipupa’s studio album Formule 7, out December 16th, 2023 via Elektra France / Warner Music France. Previous singles “Se Yo” and “Science-Fiction” were released this Fall with accompanying music videos. The festive “Garde du Cœur” video concludes a cinematic trilogy between the three songs’ music videos. Recently, Ipupa also released his COLORS session for “Par Terre”.
For over two decades, Ipupa brought Congolese and African music into more maintstream music, honoring the legacy of African Rumba while updating its sound for today’s audiences. He was part of the first wave of musicians to fill large venues in France with Congolese music, and in 2020, Ipupa sold out Paris’ 20K+ capacity Accor Arena.

In addition to his music, Ipupa is in partnerships with UNESCO, UNDP and UNICEF, currently serving as a national ambassador for the latter in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Since 2017, Ipupa has worked directly with UNICEF in the fight against malnutrition, which affects 10 million children across the DRC every year.
