New York Hardcore band Regulate has shared “In The Moment”, the second single off the their upcoming self-titled album set for release September 30th on Flatspot Records. Following “Why Can’t We?,” “In The Moment” centers around “living in your reality instead of seeking out validation”. Taking their music in new directions, vocalist Sebastian Paba shifts from screams to a clean vocal chorus on the track.
The video for the track was put together by Manuel Casanova and features live footage contributed by Sunny Singh (hate5six), guitarist Mike Botti, and videographer Mason Mercer.
Produced, Engineered, Mixed and Mastered by Jon Markson (Drug Church, Soul Blind), the album Regulate moves between a traditional Hardcore sound and something that pulls additional inspiration from Latin music and R&B.
This time, Sebastian Paba presents some of his most personal lyrics to date, bringing in serious topics like “genocide against indigenous peoples and more light-hearted notes of just loving making music”. That energy plays into the band’s live shows and you can currently catch them on tour supporting Vein.fm and Candy, alongside Living Weapon.
