Watch Hollywood Undead’s Video For “City Of The Dead” Ahead Of ‘Hotel Kalifornia’

Hollywood Undead are inviting everyone to join them on a trip to “…Another Glorious Day In The City Of The Dead”. The new single “City of the Dead”, from their upcoming album Hotel Kalifornia, has been paired with a surreal music video out now. Hotel Kalifornia is set to be released on August 12thvia BMG.

The video, directed by frequent collaborator Brian Cox (Bring Me The Horizon, The Used) is set in the band’s interpretation of the “City Of The Dead”, in which the five bandmates spend their days in a Beetlejuice-inspired world where “all things dead have another life”.

The band have also announced the release of an additional track, “Trap God”, which is a throwback to the band’s earliest days, “recounting financial struggles and doing what was necessary to survive”. The band originally formed through mutual struggle, economic challenges, and influences ranging from “gritty nineties Hip-Hop to Industrial Metal”.

Hotel Kalifornia marks the band’s 8th studio album and represents…

…a juxtaposition between the “haves” and the “have-nots”, highlighting the ongoing homelessness and cost of living crisis that is affecting the band’s home state of California.

In addition to the new album, Hollywood Undead will be on tour starting later this month. The Rockzilla Tour kicks off on July 27th with Papa Roach, Falling In Reverse, and Bad Wolves.
