UK Alternative Metal act Neonfly returned to perform at the Karmøygeddon Festival in Norway in May 2026, two years after their debut appearance at the festival’s second stage. This time, they were invited to play the main stage and brought their full production, including fire-breathing, fire dancers and plenty of theatrical firepower.
The new live video for “More Than a Lifetime”, was taken from that performance, and also brings new life to track from their most recent album, The Future, Tonight. Never released as a single, the song became a fan favorite, so the band began incorporating it into their live set. They’ve released the video as a tribute to the fans who made them feel so welcome in Norway.
Guitarist Frederick Thunder comments:
Karmøygeddon has quickly become one of my favourite festivals to play, and that’s down to the people behind it as much as anything else. They’ve built a really loyal community of fans who come back year after year, and there’s a genuinely great atmosphere around the whole event. What I particularly respect is the way they look after the bands. No matter where you are on the bill, you’re treated with respect, properly looked after and fairly paid. That’s something you don’t necessarily find even at much bigger festivals, and I think a lot of others could learn from the way Karmøygeddon does things. We’ve been made to feel incredibly welcome, from our first appearance on the second stage in 2024 to being invited back to the main stage this year. We’re really grateful for their support, and I’m delighted we could capture a bit of that experience with this live video. Long live Karmøygeddon – we’ll always be happy to come back!
