New Orleans Pop duo Generationals is the long-running musical partnership of Ted Joyner & Grant Widmer. They have shared new single “Carried Away“, the band’s first studio recording since the release of their 2023 album Heatherhead. It’s accompanied by a video.

“Carried Away” is a song with bright, electronic Production and reflects the duo’s focus on intricate Pop. The track uses a vintage Yamaha DX7, live drums accented with electronic hi-hats, and synth bass.

The band says about the track on Instagram:

We made the song and the visuals and we put our human harts and branes into it so please give it a chance, give it 10 spins, give it 25 spins and you will be SO etherized. Love from us to you.
