Los Angeles-born, London-based multidisciplinary artist Veronica Bianqui has announced her sophomore album, Use Once Then Destroy, due out November 13th, 2026 via NX Records. Bianqui has also shared lead single “All My Heroes Are Dead” which conveys a “cathartic burst of energy.”

Bianqui shares:

Every once in a while I get the absurd impulse to bleach my hair, like that’s somehow going to change how I feel inside. When I wrote ‘All My Heroes Are Dead,’ that urge came back, and I could feel my self-destructive side creeping in again — so instead of acting on it, I turned it into a character. I imagined a bratty teenager who’d decided everything was a bit shit and leaned all the way into the chaos. There’s a lot of me in her, but she’s exaggerated — the volume turned all the way up. The song became my way of bringing some levity to a heavy subject, and reminding myself not to take every dark thought so seriously.

On the album Use Once Then Destroy, Bianqui builds a world of larger-than-life characters, including “obsessive lovers, antiheroes, rock stars, self-destructive brats.” Familiar rock ‘n’ roll tropes are “exaggerated, inverted, and reimagined through dark humor.” Some themes include “obsession, desire, power, and disposability.”

Written over four years following her move from Los Angeles to London, the album emerged during a period of loss and personal change for the artist. It developed alongside the completion of two Master’s degrees, an MMus in Popular Music and an MFA in Creative Practice at Goldsmiths University, where Bianqui deepened her practice as a producer.

She self-Produced the record, playing much of it herself, and recording wherever the project could move forward. Outside musicians and engineers still contributed along the way, among them, Omar Yakar (Courtney Barnett, Warpaint), who mixed the record.
