On September 4th, 2026, Australian Deathcore quartet A Night In Texas will release their fifth full-length album, The Darkest Side of Humanity, via Unique Leader Records. A new single and video for “A Primal Conditioning” is out now.

A Night In Texas comments on the new track:

‘A Primal Conditioning’ explores the idea that beneath the veneer of civilization lies a nature that can never truly be erased. The track examines the instinctual drives, impulses, and behaviours embedded within human DNA—traits forged through millions of years of evolution that continue to shape our actions regardless of morality, culture, or progress. It questions whether humanity is genuinely in control of its destiny or simply acting out ancient biological programming disguised as free will.

Driven by relentless aggression and suffocating intensity, ‘A Primal Conditioning’ is a dark reflection on the animal that still exists within us all, exposing the uncomfortable reality that some aspects of human nature may be impossible to overcome.

Produced by the band’s own Cory Judd then mixed & mastered by Christian Donaldson (Cryptopsy, Ingested, Despised Icon), The Darkest Side of Humanity confronts themes of “death, suffering, mortality, instinct, deception, and the darker realities of existence.”
