Steve Blanco, bassist of the NYC avant-garde Metal group Imperial Triumphant, has announced a new solo piano album: Misztikus. Digitally available on July 24th, 2026, the record features original compositions recorded at Music City Piano in Nashville, TN on a Shigeru Kawai SK-7.

For a preview, Blanco has released a video for “Mysterio” which was shot during the album recording session.

Misztikus will arrive digitally and on vinyl via. Ahead of record release, fans can join the official Bandcamp listening party on Wednesday, July 22nd @ 9AM PT//12PM ET//6PM CET.

Steve Blanco will make select live appearances in the coming months performing Imprints of Man: another solo piano album featuring his own arrangements of music from Imperial Triumphant. Performed in its entirety, the program “transforms the band’s compositions into an intimate concert experience blending interpretation and improvisation.” Fans can expect a unique perspective on Imperial Triumphant’s music through solo piano, followed by a meet-and-greet.
