Brighton, UK-duo Penelope Isles will be releasing their new album, 3, on September 25, 2026 via Bella Union. The band has shared a second album preview track titled “I Loved You, Robert Pattinson”.

The song “looks back with a wide-eyed adult perspective on the naivety, ignorance, and blissful unawareness that most youngster’s behold.” It’s also a reference to one of Lily Wolter’s favourite actors, Robert Pattinson, during the Twilight era, circa 2008.

The accompanying music video features home recordings of the band’s time making the new album at Black Bay Studios in The Outer Hebrides, Scotland while also crabbing and making friends with the local fishermen. 

3 is Penelope Isles first collection as a true three-piece, with close friend Joe Taylor (Anna B Savage, Iona Zajac) joining on drums, and the first they’ve ever recorded live. Written on a monthlong surf trip to Lagos, Portugal and recorded live at Black Bay Studio in the Isle of Lewis off Scotland’s northwest coast, the new collection is “obsessed with love, with heartbreak, with what lingers after” but also has “sweetness” to it.

Both Jack and Lily have released solo albums over the past year, as Cubzoa and My Precious Bunny respectively. Penelope Isles have announced UK & EU headline shows and festival appearances in October and November.
