On her upcoming album, Rattlin’ Bones, Grammy-winning artist, two-time IBMA Fiddle Player of the Year, and former Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway member, Bronwyn explores what was once an unfamiliar area, songwriting.
Taking inspiration from “personal and fictional experiences,” Bronwyn’s latest single, “Johnny Ray,” is a “mature take on a deep subject.”
Out now, “Johnny Ray” differs from the rest of the album in that it “feels a little more urgent and a lot more solemn” in that it deals with addiction and substance abuse. Bronwyn describes the track as “the helpless feeling of watching someone you love down and being unable to stop it from happening.”
Bronwyn will be hitting the road this summer with dates across the U.S. She will have a performance at the Grand Ole Opry on Aug. 19, 2026.

With her former group, Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway, dissolving amicably last year, the window of opportunity opened up for Bronwyn to pursue her own artistic endeavors, in performance and in the recording booth.
Rattlin’ Bones was co-Produced by Bronwyn and Brent Truitt (The SteelDrivers) at Truitt’s Nashville studio, and also at the Tractor Shed in nearby Goodlettsville.
