NYC-based indie Pop artist, Producer, and multi-instrumentalist Leah Nawy will be releasing her debut EP, I Could Bloom From Here, on July 10, 2026. Featuring songs she’s written and performed over the past five years, now “reworked, rewritten, and refined”, the album reflects on “artistic process, constantly shooting new stems and petals, growing brighter in color, and pushing upward toward the Sun.”

The single “Mixing Patterns” is out now.

Nawy explains:

The title is optimistic while almost having childlike surprise and wonder. It signals to me both having worked very hard and establishing myself as an artist, yet also ‘just getting started’ in terms of the trajectory of the growth.

As well as offering three brand new songs, I Could Bloom From Here features new versions of previously released tracks, including “Mixing Patterns”, a “path to self-discovery.” Singles “ordinary”, and “I Was A Flower” also find themselves on the EP but offering “a new, dynamic experience with the same lyrics.”

Nawy explains:

Because these songs have existed with me for so long, they genuinely feel like a part of who I am. For a long time I kept trying to get the older songs to keep up with who I was as I kept growing. At a certain point, I knew I had to stop reworking them, let them be what they were, and set them free. They represent who I was at the time, and I put a lot of time, effort, and care into them.

Leah Nawy is a Taiwanese-American songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist who blends indie Rock, Folk, and Soul in her music. With a background in classical music, music theory, she has years of playing in bands across venues in New Jersey under her belt.
