Singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Alejandro Aranda has released new song “Glowing”, out now and streaming here. “Glowing” shows off Aranda’s finger-picking style of guitar playing and reflects on longing.

Aranda shares about the track:

‘Glowing’ is a guitar song at heart, but a love song in the lyrics. It’s a wave of emotion about true love. The guitar represents the way life ebbs and flows, and the drum beat is the rhythm of emotions.

Fans can look forward to seeing Aranda perform “Glowing” live this summer as he embarks on the Hondo World Tour. Kicking off on June 4 in Chicago, the two leg run features stops in Toronto, New York, Philadelphia, Vancouver, Denver, Los Angeles, and more.

Hailing from Pomona, California, Alejandro Aranda is a genre-fluid artist who works with Folk, Pop, Experimental Rock, and more. Aranda competed in the seventeenth season of American Idol. He went on to perform seven original tracks throughout the competition, the only contestant in the show’s history to do so. Support carried him to the season finale where he ultimately came in second.

Since competing on American Idol, Aranda has performed on stages around the world. He has also released several full-length records and EPs, including his most recent album, Farewell Superstar (2025). Aranda also writes and performs with Metal band Seven Hours After Violet, a supergroup featuring System Of A Down bassist Shavo Odadjian, Left To Suffer’s Taylor Barber, and Winds of Plague’s Michael “Morgoth” Montoya and Josh Johnson.
