Singer/songwriter Ryan Hamilton has returned with “Dreaming Screaming,” a new single that also launches the pre-order period for his forthcoming full-length album, Haunted By American Dreams, out July 3rd, 2026 on Wicked Cool Records.

“Dreaming Screaming” pairs driving instrumentation with introspective lyrics that “capturing the emotional toll of ambition when it’s pushed beyond its limits.”

Hamilton says:

‘Dreaming Screaming’ is a roots-leaning alternative rock track with a heavier, guitar-driven edge, in the spirit of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. It explores the cost of chasing a dream past its breaking point—when ambition erodes mental health and pulls you from family. This is the first single from what will be my first album in over three years.

With Haunted By American Dreams, Hamilton begins a new chapter that “leans into hard truths”. “Dreaming Screaming” sets the tone for the album’s themes, “confronting the darker side of the pursuit while still finding moments of clarity within the chaos.”
