After a year of performances at Wacken Open Air, Midgardsblot and dates with The Hu, Eihwar are adding to their Viking War Trance with album Hugrheim. The album arrives on March 13, 2026 on Season of Mist.

The duo have announced their second advanced single from Hugrheim, “Freya’s Calling.” Rooted in the cosmology that defines the project, “Freya’s Calling” channels the “raw, ecstatic force of the Norse goddess of love, battle, fate and ancient magic.”

Driven by shamanic drums, the song captures “a moment of ritual abandon where music becomes invocation and movement becomes communion.”
