The band Jaguero have returned with the single “Lit,” which marks the beginning of a new chapter for the Punk/Emo band from Vicenza, Italy, and builds towards their debut full-length album which follows the release of two EPs.

Born during the sessions following their second EP, New Love, in 2023, the song has been with the band for a while on their creative journey. It went through numerous versions, reshaped multiple times before reaching its final form just a few weeks before they entered the studio. This is an unusual process for Jaguero, who often write quickly, but they feel it helped add emotional layers to the piece.

The band describes the new single:

‘Lit’ is a dedication to that person who manages to see us even when we struggle to see ourselves, to the one who sparks that flame that gets us moving again even in our heaviest moments. It’s an anthem to the strength that comes from genuine human connections — the kind that can turn a fragile instant into a new beginning.

Both the band’s EPs were produced by Maurizio Baggio at La Distilleria, as is the new album, and released by Epidemic Records. The two EPs were later compiled into a limited self-titled vinyl edition, which led the band to perform on stages and festivals across Italy and abroad.
