For Bella White, “Little Things” Lead To Big Changes

Singer/songwriter Bella White has released new single “Little Things” on Rounder Records. The song marks White’s first original material since 2023’s Among Other Things, and follows last year’s covers EP, Five For Silver.

Written by White and co-produced with Ross Farbe (Video Age, Sun Hotel, and Native America), “Little Things” captures the the mood White’s new home in New Orleans, where the city’s music culture has shaped her creative process.

White says:

‘Little Things’ is a song about moving on. I wrote it during a time when I was realizing that for a while I had been outgrowing some of the most central parts of my life and identity. I remember the weeks and months before writing it I was feeling a total lack of creativity and frankly kind of numb. When I finally sat down to try and write, I felt overcome with the knowledge that it was time for some big changes and that really scared me. It was the first song off of this album that I wrote and in some ways opened the floodgates for a very reflective time.

Earlier this year, White’s music appeared in multiple episodes of The Waterfront, and she shared stages with Tyler Childers, Dierks Bentley, and The Red Clay Strays.

White will support the release with a run of fall headline dates across the US, including stops in Brooklyn, Woodstock, Philadelphia, Austin, and Dallas (full list below).
