The Folk Duo Haunted Like Human will be releasing their sophomore album, American Mythology, on October 17th, 2025. The single “Married In Savannah” is out now. The new track is “a bittersweet folk song about watching someone close to you change.” Dale Chapman (they/them) and Cody Clark (he/him) craft a track that carries the sting of things becoming unfamiliar.

Chapman says about “Married in Savannah”:

At its core, its a song about growing up and growing into very different people from the ones that you thought you knew.

It’s been four years since the release of 2021’s Tall Tales & Fables, and in that time the duo have been refining their sound. American Mythology is made up of songs that “borrow from universal lore in order to reveal intimate truths.”
