Following 2023’s Always on My Mind EP, Hamburg Dream-Pop duo Roller Derby recently announced that they will be releasing their debut album, titled When The Night Comes, on the 28th of February 2025.

Now, they are releasing another taster from the album, “Emily’s Dance,” alongside an animated music video. “Emily’s Dance” was produced by Moses Schneider. Reflecting on “the juxtaposed feelings of powerlessness and fascination in the face of the universe,” “Emily’s Dance” interweaves Dream-Pop with ‘80s Synth-Pop.

Roller Derby recently played their biggest shows to date opening for German Indie-Rock band Madsen and have previously brought performances to Reeperbahn Festival, The Great Escape and SXSW.
