Fleur and Wesley Wood, otherwise known as The W Lovers, are a husband-and-wife duo whose music centers around vocal harmonies and acoustic instrumentation, They have recently released their third album together, For a Day or a Lifetime.

Known for their blend of Indie-Folk and Americana, For a Day or a Lifetime builds on what they created on 2019’s This Little Town, and expands to a fuller-sounding record.

Lyrically, it “tells a cinematic story of a year of travel around the US.” The duo self-Produced the collection, recording at Bear Creek Studio (Brandi Carlile, The Lumineers) and working with mixing engineer Taylor Carroll.

The album begins with the song “Little Ant,” which is “a metaphor for all there is to do at the start of things.” It’s also about how “threads of the past weave their way into something new.”
