Singer-songwriter Lee DeWyze has announced his cinematic Folk album Gone For Days via Mavelle Records, due out on August 23rd, 2024. Embracing the storytelling aspect of Folk albums, and drawing on Americana influences, DeWyze recorded this new collection of songs in Bristol, VA.

DeWyze has shared the album’s first single “Devil In The Details” which explores themes of “battling inner demons, grief, and wrestling with life’s toughest questions”.

DeWyze shares about making the album: 

Recording this album was a special experience for me. On a personal level, it feels like this is the album I’ve always wanted to make. Even in the studio, everything was very organic and real. It was almost as if the record was alive, and all the pieces were flying in and out, finding their proper places. It was all centered around the songs and what’s best for each one of them, all while telling each song’s individual story. It was important to me that you could feel the emotion on this album, and that it sounded that way as well.
