Having previously announced their album, Cellophane Memories out August 2nd, 2024 via Sacred Bones Records, Chrystabell and David Lynch have share their new single, “The Answers to the Questions.” The single comes alongside a video directed and animated by Lynch, and follows lead single “Sublime Eternal Love.”

Chrystabell’s vocals are combined with David Lynch’s, and late composer Angelo Badalamenti’s, orchestra of strings, guitar, and reverb.

The origin of Chrystabell and David Lynch’s album Cellophane Memories comes from “a vision that David experienced during a nighttime walk through a forest of tall trees, over the tops of which he saw a bright light.” As he recalls it, “The light became the lilt of Chrystabell’s voice and revealed a secret to him.”

As with with the duo’s previous work together, Cellophane Memories “returns to a central question: what is a mystery?” It’s a “riddle” which “remains unanswered.”
