Reading, Pennsylvania-based Progressive Death Metal band Rivers of Nihil have released the instrumental edition of their album Where Owls Know My Name via Metal Blade Records.

Rivers of Nihil built upon their first two releases, The Conscious Seed of Light (2013) and Monarchy (2015) with their third full-length, Where Owls Know My Name in 2018.

Where Owls Know My Name represented an evolutionary leap for the band. With previous albums focusing on the seasons of Spring and summer, Where Owls Know My Name represented the Fall.

Guitarist Brody Uttley says on the instrumental edition of the record:

Ever since Where Owls Know My Name came out we’ve had people begging for an instrumental version. Well… here it is! Better see you musician dorks doing all kinds of cover videos.

A visualizer has been released for the instrumental version of “Subtle Change (Including The Forest Of Transition And Dissatisfaction Dance)”.
