Druidess Launches ‘Hermits And Mandrakes’ EP With Heavy Psych And Stoner Rock

Druidess is a four piece Heavy Psych / Stoner band from Newcastle upon Tyne in the UK. They combine Black Sabbath-styled riffs with driving female vocals and keyboard textures. They have recently released their debut EP, Hermits and Mandrakes.

Conceived in 2022 by Daniel Downing (Aloeswood, ex-Ravenage) and Shonagh Brown (ex-Juniper Grave) the project has now evolved with the addition of James Hill (Kylver) and Sam Armstrong (Shan).

The band has embarked on their first live touring, with gigs alongside Eyehategod, Saint Karloff and Margarita Witch Cult.

They have also teased that writing for their debut full-length album has already begun, with an expected release date of Summer 2025.
