Platinum selling Australian Pop band Sheppard, featuring siblings George Sheppard (vocals/guitar), Amy Sheppard (vocals/keyboards) and Emma Sheppard (bass), have released new single Edge of the Earthwith an accompanying music video. “Edge of the Earth” is the band’s first new music of 2024 and latest track from their forthcoming LP.

“Edge of the Earth” was written and recorded in Los Angeles and Brisbane by George and Amy Sheppard along with US-based producers Neil Ormandy and Ethan Roberts.

The single’s music video and cover art were brought to life by director Josh Harris from Welcome the Machines (Gang of Youths, Peach PRC, G Flip, Mia Rodriguez) and ARIA-nominated artist Giulia Giannini McGauran (Tones and I, Lime Cordiale, Tash Sultana, The Teskey Brothers).

Sheppard’s upcoming album will be their fourth full-length LP and coincides with a period of change since the band relocated to Nashville, TN this past Fall.

On the new single and moving to the States, George Sheppard says:

In an era where fleeting viral moments often overshadow enduring artistry, the value of longevity and a repertoire of memorable songs that resonate deeply with fans becomes immeasurable. For us, ‘Edge of the Earth’ isn’t just another single release. It’s a heartfelt anthem that crystalises a pivotal chapter in our lives, inspired by the unwavering support and trust of our partners who have moved with us to Nashville in support of our dreams.

This incredible act of faith and unity is at the heart of ‘Edge of the Earth,’ symbolizing that home is wherever we are with the ones we love. It’s quintessentially Sheppard – bold, anthemic, and brimming with uplifting energy, carrying a message that resonates far beyond the music. While viral success has its allure, crafting a meaningful career, one that truly connects and leaves a lasting impact, is what we cherish the most. We’re excited to bring ‘Edge of the Earth’ to fans around the globe, sharing a song born from genuine love and the courage to follow it to the ends of the earth.

Throughout the course of their career, their music has been featured in TV shows, films, advertisements, and more including American Ninja Warrior (NBC), American Idol (ABC), the 2020 Summer Olympics, Bose Audio, Angry Birds, Alvin and the Chipmunks, Subway, Subaru, ESPN, Good Morning America (ABC), America’s Got Talent (NBC), The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and many more.
