During the Fall of 2023, Swedish Progressive Metal outfit Dun Ringill released 150-Where The Old Gods Play – Act 1. The album is the first part of a double concept-album, released as two separate records. Now, the group returns with a music video for “The Parrish”, a track included on the first album featuring guest performances by organ player Per Wiberg (Spiritual Beggars, Opeth).
Dun Ringill started in 2017 as a project with Nordic folk influences, creating music with big harmonies and lyrics “directly from the land of evil and darkness” stemming from the mind of bassist Patrik Andersson Winberg.
The double concept album, released as two single albums via The Sign records, is based on a movie script written by Patrik Andersson Winberg and Jonas Granath (a teacher in religion and literature). The story (based in Scotland in early 1900) centers around the manipulation of a church by a priest whose secret agenda is only revealed at the end.

Following the release of their new music video, Dun Ringill is heading to Germany for five live shows supporting Iron Walrus.
