The Hill Is Burning Launches Second Collection ‘From Alpha To Omega’

French Metal band from Reunion Island, The Hill Is Burning, have released new album From Alpha To Omega, their second collection. It intentionally combines the different worlds of Death and Thrash metal.

The new album was produced by Chris Clancy at Audioworks Studio in the UK. The album’s first single, “The Dreamer” was released last Spring and now has an official music video.

Influenced by Sepultura, Nevermore, Coroner, Neurosis and Gojira, the group The Hill is Burning was born in November 2015, at the initiative of Cédric Quéré (vocals/guitar). The Hill Is Burning’s first album, Last Bullet, was released on digital platforms in March 2020 but Covid overshadowed the release period.

The Hill Is Burning began working hard in 2022 on the creation of new compositions: they focused on making more direct songs, adding textures, and a working with a different sound universe, marked by new effects. Following this period, the group reached out to Colin Richardson, the producer of Machine Head, Slipknot, Sepultura, Carcass, and even Napalm Death.

The band has performed several concerts in 2023 and is preparing for several dates before the end of the year.
