The Last Second Save Unveils Double Single “Baltimore” And “Next Best Thing”

The Last Second Save was created by songwriter Jesse Procaccini and he has released the 2-song single “Baltimore,” with B-side “Next Best Thing.” “Baltimore” was Produced by Will Beasley and Paul Leavitt (All Time Low, The Dangerous Summer), and on the track, Procaccini teams up with fellow Maryland songwriter Ben DeHan to celebrate that city’s literary history and to imagine better futures. Next Best Thing”, by contrast, is “an upbeat journey through an old memory”. The singles arrive via Negative Progression Records.

Procaccini shares:

My song “Baltimore” was written to highlight the resilience of the people of Baltimore. It’s about tough people living in a tough place yet overcoming tremendous obstacles and proving themselves. Even those that have moved away from Baltimore claim it as their hometown and always seem to be connected to the city.

“Next Best Thing” is about growing up in a broken home when the people you love continue to leave. It’s about wishing for a normal life with safe relationships. The song is about going through the dark or your lowest point and coming out of it still alive.

Upcoming Show:

May 12- Baltimore, MD @ Zen West
