On February 24, 2023 Los Angeles-based songwriter Jenny O. will release her album Spectra via Mama Bird Recording Co. The album is the follow up to 2020 release New Truth. Ahead of the album, the single and artist-created video for “You Are Loved Eternally” has been released.

Commenting on “You Are Loved Eternally” Jenny O. says:

The phrase “You Are Loved Eternally” was hand-painted on an old mirror frame in my friend’s grandfather’s cabin. Weeks after I visited in 2020, the cabin and everything it contained burned up in the Sequoia Complex Fire along with 10% of the world’s giant sequoias. I imagine that mirror reflecting a room of flames before it too was consumed- the 1950’s furniture, local nature books, even the iron wood stove melted. At that time someone I love deeply was in trouble, in depressive peril. I wrote this song for them, for me, for everyone I know and don’t know. We get lost and fall disconnected from the warm glow of human connectivity, loving awareness, the web of life..

Jenny O. has also announced several shows supporting Steven Page. The band will be performing on January 19, 2023 at The Troubadour in Los Angeles and on January 20, 2023 at Pappy & Harriet’s in Joshua Tree.

Spectra is the fourth full-length album by Jenny O. and is “a celebration of the universal” and “a manual straight from the soul on how to love practically and unconditionally, in all directions”.
