Dosser’s Video For “Dark Air” Conjures Lost Friends

Baltimore-based Indie Rockers Dosser have shared their video for “Dark Air”, a new single off their album Violent Picture/Violent Sound out January 20th, 2023 on Really Rad Records. They’ll also be playing an album release show in January 2023.

Vocalist Bret Lanahan explains:

‘Dark Air’ is about a handful of close friends that passed away or took their lives when I was younger. I wrote some of the lyrics a long time ago but could never put them in a song. The older I get the more I think about them. I see them more in my dreams now than I ever used to. The dreams are mostly happy. We’re all friends again, but even in the dream I’m aware that it can’t be real. It’s a lot of self reflection and wondering if there was anything I could have done to help. It’s probably the heaviest song on the album for me but I enjoy playing it because it reminds me of old friends I haven’t seen in a long time.

Formed in the summer of 2018 by Will Teague, Bret Lanahan, Eric Dudley, and Max Detrich, Dosser’s debut LP will arrive in January 2023.
