Singer-songwriter Thomas Day has released the single and video for “The End,” via Arista Records. The song reaches out with a powerful message “about not giving up, even when the pain feels overwhelming”.
Day explains:
This song is definitely the most emotional I’ve released so far and this was actually the first time I’d ever cried while I was recording a song. The ending of anything is my biggest fear. I hate change, I’ll do anything to fight for keeping things the same, which is kind of hypocritical because I broke up with a girl I’m in love with. This song is a fight for everything to be okay, but even if it isn’t, knowing it will be ok in the end.
The music video for “The End” was directed by Brenton Giesey, a Nashville-based visual artist who worked with Day on his last two music videos for “Wildflower” and “not my job anymore.”

Day elaborates on the visual concept:
The water described my emotions towards the entire concept of the video, and emotionally allowed me to get into it, which I knew I needed to do with this song. It was really fun too.
After garnering a following on TikTok with his cover songs, Thomas Day signed to Arista Records in 2021, evolving his music with singles like “not my job anymore,” “The New Me,” and his recent track “Wildflower.”
