Marvin Etzioni Re-Releases “Love Letter To Democracy” With A New Video To Encourage Mid-Term Voting

Marvin Etzioni has been a fixture on the L.A. music scene for over 40 years. A Grammy-winning record producer and Grammy-nominated songwriter, Etzioni was a founding member of Lone Justice, toured with U2 and Tom Petty, and produced Counting Crows, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Stephen Stills/Judy Collins and others. He also continued with his own music and he recently began his own label, Regional Records.

Now, leading up to the country’s crucial mid-term elections, Etzioni and Regional Records is re-releasing the stand-alone single and video “Love Letter To Democracy.” It’s Etzioni’s hope that the re-release will remind people to get out and vote.

The song was originally released in January of 2021 to celebrate Joe Biden’s inauguration and as a follow up to his album, What’s the Mood of the Country Now?

The video was directed by Etzioni, and we see the artist at the piano, shot from above, through glass that partially hides him. The video’s focus is a model of the Statue of Liberty, against a harsh gray background, with torch aflame.
