Philly-based women Punk rockers Vixen77 have unveiled their newest single + video “Evade”. The single is taken from their debut album Easy Access, which will be out October 14th, 2022 via Megaforce Records (Metallica, Anthrax, Meat Puppets, Dirty Honey, Plush, etc.). The song’s lyrics “detail the falling out of a toxic relationship”.
The band explains:
It’s about dating someone who promises you the world, but ends up being manipulative and tries to change you, while telling you tons of broken promises.
Easy Access features twelve tracks recorded in only seventy-two hours at Retro City Studios (Mannequin Pussy, Mitski, Lizzo, The Menzingers) and “navigates life through love and rock ‘n’ roll”.

Vixen77’s biggest influences are The Stooges, The Runaways, and Johnny Thunders and their name is a “reference to woman energy and the musical influence of late-seventies punk”. The band recently opened for the Wayne Kramer on his current MC5 tour.
