North Carolina trio Youth League has released the new album Somehow Those Were Days via Wiretap Records. The band will also be on tour in October, which includes an appearance at Fest.
Youth League stem from a heavy foundation, using looped guitar riffs built around melodies. They give plenty of energy to instrumentation with sparse vocals and cite some sound echoes of Emo and Math Rock. Recent singles include “Part & Parcel” and “Nineteen Ninety Nine”.
