Give You Nothing’s “The Hardest Part” Comments On Getting Stuck In The Past

Santa Cruz Melodic Punks Give You Nothing have released “The Hardest Part” the new single and video off the band’s upcoming album, Songs For The Broken, out in October from People Of Punk Rock Records.

Of the track the band says:

The Hardest Part was one of the first songs we worked on from the new record. We loved the high energy feel of the song and we started with the chorus and we built it out from there. It is a song about the people that are so stuck on their past accomplishments that they can’t ever move forward and grow.

Give You Nothing has deep roots in the West Coast Punk scene, having played shows with the likes of like Bad Religion, Face To Face, Agnostic Front, and H2O. During the shutdown, they began writing and demoing for the new full-length record which was recorded summer of 2021 with Zack Ohren (Machine Head, Set Your Goals, Ceremony, Heartsounds) at Sharkbite Studios in Oakland.

Upcoming shows:

10/26 San Jose, CA

10/27 Urbanis Cellar – Santa Cruz, CA
