Jordan Fletcher Gathers Multi-Generational Advice For Life’s Journey In “Death And Taxes”

Jacksonville-born and Nashville-based singer/songwriter Jordan Fletcher recently released his Country-inspired autobiographical EP True Stories via Triple Tigers Records. He’s now followed that release with the Dave Cobb (Chris Stapleton, Brandi Carlile, Jason Isbell) produced single Death and Taxes which gathers advice Fletcher wants to convey to his young son. Fletcher will also be on tour playing select shows throughout the summer.

He explains about the single:

Death And Taxes is a song about advice my dad gave me that I’m now wanting to pass on to my son. It’s about life, death, love, and family and feels like the perfect way to sum up this personal journal that ended up becoming an album.

Fletcher is following a series of singles with a forthcoming full-length debut album for Triple Tigers.

He adds:

All of my songs are autobiographical. If I’m singing it, it’s got to be true. If you watched a childhood video of me on VHS, this is what you would see. I’m not making this shit up or shying away from what I believe. I’m telling my story.
