Seattle-based singer/songwriter/classically-trained cellist and illustrator Jeremiah Moon has released a new lyric video for “Melusine,” a track off his recently released debut EP Sputnik, out now via Enci Records (The Joy Formidable, Beach Goons, Fences). The song brings in a number of watery elements, hence its title’s reference to a female water spirit, and the video certainly captures that water-based vibe, too.
We recently spoke with Moon about the Sputnik EP, and you can still check that out right here. Moon will also be playing an EP release show this weekend, on Saturday, April 2nd, at Conor Byrne Pub in Ballard, Washington.
The Sputnik EP was recorded with friend and producer Adam Black in a remote cabin in Florence, Oregon and though the main tracks were laid down, further arrangements were carefully added over a period of a couple of years.
