Rock & Roll Hall of Famers Daryl Hall and John Oates are reissuing Marigold Sky, this time in digital and vinyl formats as well, on the 25th anniversary of its original release. It was their fifteenth studio album and their first to be released as independent artists back in 1997. The album will be available on March 25, 2022 in digital, double LP, and an expanded CD format that includes three bonus tracks previously unavailable on the original album release.
You can check out “Promise Ain’t Enough” with an official video as a preview of the album:
Daryl Hall comments:
I look at ‘Marigold Sky’ as the lost Hall and Oates album. The fans have been asking me for years about it. I’m really proud of these songs and happy to see that it’s getting a global re-release.
John Oates adds:
I am really pleased that ‘Marigold Sky’ is finally becoming available around the world. It’s a very unique and cool album, and I hope old and new fans really enjoy it.
