Cologne, Germany-based Black Metal collective Beltez will release their fifth, self-titled album on December 4, 2026, via Vendetta Records. To mark the announcement, the band have unveiled the album’s first single, “Gebahren der Unvernunft,” accompanied by an official lyric video.

Whereas previous releases expanded the band’s horizons through “ambitious concepts and immersive storytelling”, the new album turns inward. For the first time in a long time, the album contains lyrics solely written in German, reflecting on “the struggles in life.”

Continuing in the vein of their previous albums, Beltez continue to resist the temptations of overly modern production styles. The drums are real and authentic, with physical instruments and amplifiers have been used, rather than plug-ins. The album was mixed and mastered by Mario Dahmen at Liquid Aether Studio.
