Charlotte Dickson has recently released her debut album, Collateral Damage, via Blue Élan Records, a collection of Alternative Pop songs about “betrayal, attachment, anxiety and the lasting impact of relationships.” The track “2Attached” leads a project “built around the complicated feelings that remain when life takes an unexpected turn.”

Dickson writes about the parts of relationships people don’t always know how to talk about. Across the album she “takes on emotional distance, resentment, lingering love and the difficulty of letting go.” She draws from personal experiences to tell stories that are relatable.

Collateral Damage was Produced by Denny Fongheiser (Heart, Tracy Chapman, The Rembrandts), and the songs come together to express “the consequences of situations we never intended or chose, and the possibility of making something meaningful from the experience.”
