Strange Pains, aka Boston-born songwriter Ted Bradley, has released new album The Diamond District I. Produced, engineered, and mixed by Joseph D’Agostino (Cymbals Eat Guitars, Empty Country), the LP is accompanied by the release of the single “Special Thing.”

The LP is the first installment of Bradley’s forthcoming double album The Diamond District, with its second half set to follow in 2027. Written over six years across Somerville, MA, Brooklyn, NY, and Providence, RI, The Diamond District is Strange Pains’ debut double album.

“Special Thing” is a track that moves between “intimacy, memory, and altered perception.” In essence, it “captures the feeling of being completely absorbed in someone while already sensing that the moment may eventually exist only as memory.”
