Queen’s Roger Taylor Reveals An Ecology-Focused Video For “A Beautiful World”

Violence Insane In A Beautiful World, the new album from Roger Taylor, Queen songwriter, musician, and singer, is out now on Columbia Records. The video for Roger’s new single, “A Beautiful World,” featuring the Ndlovu Youth Choir, was created in collaboration with the eco-designers VIN + OMI and shows “the beauty of the natural world and the traumatic decline of the planet.”

The track and video had their world premiere at the VIN + OMI show Anarchy, which marked the start of British Fashion Week. The show also saw Roger Taylor make his catwalk debut.

VIN + OMI are pioneers in sustainable fashion and textile innovation. Their work “transforms plant waste, recycled materials, and other overlooked resources into high-quality, forward-thinking designs.” Their work “emphasises environmental responsibility and social engagement, showing how creativity can directly address ecological and societal challenges.”

Speaking about the collaboration, Roger Taylor says:

It’s in the title of the track,  really, what a beautiful world we live in, don’t fuck it up. It’s been great collaborating with VIN + OMI, I really admire their commitment to sustainability and trying to make the world a better place.

While not a concept record, Violence Insane In A Beautiful World does have an overarching theme, as Roger Taylor explains:

There seems to be all this insanity at the moment. The violence in the world seems to be as bad as it ever was, at any point, and certainly in my lifetime. It’s just horrific, a lot of insane violence. And we do seem to be fucking up the world, plastics in the sea, you know, and all these awful wars everywhere and hatred born of different religions.

To celebrate the release of the new album, Roger Taylor will hit the road for his only UK shows in 2026.

For Roger Taylor’s only UK dates of the year, which opens in Newcastle on 21st September, fans who pre-order the album will receive exclusive first access to tickets. The tour will then visit Edinburgh, Birmingham, Manchester, Swansea, and the Roundhouse in London.
