Felt has released new single and video for “Phantom Friends” which “captures the restless aftermath of a friendship falling apart without a clean ending.” The song is one that “moves between quiet desperation and overwhelming release.”

Hannah Christina, (vocals and bass) says:

While most of our songs have their roots in our own lives, ‘Phantom Friends’ might be the most personal song as of yet for us lyric-wise. It feels very vulnerable, but also strangely empowering. Giving something shape and form in music and words materializes it more, lets you own the wild ride of emotions.

The accompanying video depicts a “fast-paced, sleepless night” where “life keeps buzzing around you” even as you search for something lost.

“Phantom Friends” combines Shoegaze sounds, ethereal vocals, and Pop ideas, and is another glimpse of Felt’s upcoming album, Soil and Sky, which arrives November 6th, 2026.
