Denver-based five-piece Americana Folk-Rock band Heavy Diamond Ring will release new EP, Let Love Be Enough, on October 16, 2026, via Gitcha Records. The collection marks a new chapter for the longtime musical partnership of vocalist Sarah Anderson and guitarist/songwriter Paul DeHaven, whose creative relationship spans more than 20 years and has continued to evolve since their days in indie-Folk band Paper Bird.

The EP’s first single, “The One You Use,” is out now and offers an introduction to the new collection. Recorded at The Library in Minneapolis and produced and mixed by Dan Rodriguez, the EP also features a special guest vocal appearance by Gregory Alan Isakov.

“The One You Use” has an Americana groove, with nods to Robert Johnson, Bob Wills and The Rolling Stones.

Anderson and DeHaven first began making music together in 2004, eventually spending 11 years in Paper Bird before forming Heavy Diamond Ring immediately following the band’s breakup. Now, eight years into Heavy Diamond Ring, the five-piece has developed a sound that is an “unorthodox approach to folk-Rock that draws from Americana, Roots and Rock.”

The band says:

We’re a family. We genuinely love and respect each other, and that’s what keeps us glued together and continuing to make music together after all these years.

We feel like we’re continuing to evolve as a band, and we just keep getting better with time. There’s a lot of history between us, but we’re not stuck in the past—we’re still excited about where the music can go and what we can discover together.
