Kyle Kimbrell is a Birmingham, Alabama-based singer/songwriter and guitarist whose music draws from Americana, Country, Rock, and Blues traditions. His new studio album, Lonesome In The Sky, is due out October 16, 2026, via Cornelius Chapel Records. It will arrive on vinyl, CD and digital/streaming platforms, and the single “Paperbacks” is out now.

Kimbrell says about the album on Instagram:

I put everything I had into this one, and I’m grateful for everyone who helped bring these songs to life. As always, I appreciate y’all giving a damn.

Previous releases include the EP, Nobody’s Fool, and the albums From Rust To Real and Easy Truths. Kimbrell tends to reflect a “strong sense of place” in his work, “drawing on everyday life and lived experience” to create songs.
