Los Angeles-based Indie Rock/Pop trio Night Talks has released the single and video for “Window Shopping,” an upbeat song takes on insecurities and self-doubt. The song also channels the “roller coaster-like experience of questioning what success looks like and if one is on the right path.” Fans can celebrate the new track live with the band at LA’s Gold Digger’s on September 1, 2026.
Lead vocalist Soraya Sebghati shares:
‘Window Shopping’ is about impostor syndrome and the price of comparison. When you reach a point in your career where your friends are surpassing you and you feel left behind, you start to feel small in your own accomplishments, wondering if you really belong or if you’ll ever make it.
For this track, the band reunites with frequent collaborator Eric Palmquist (Bad Suns, Tate McRae, half•alive).
On the track’s production process, Jacob Butler (guitar, synth, vocals) adds:
We had the skeleton of this song sitting around for a while, with just the triplet guitar rhythm and a drum beat. It wasn’t until pretty late in the process that we figured out what the song should be about, and came up with that bassline which really brought the whole song to life and made it groove.
